Ingredients

Apple crisp cold foam
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream Use cold cream for fastest foaming.
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar Pack or level as you prefer for sweetness.
  • 0.25 tsp ground cinnamon For the crisp-spice flavor and finish.
  • 0.25 tsp apple pie spice Adds the full apple-crisp blend.
  • 1 tbsp milk Helps loosen the cream for easier frothing.
  • 1 Iced coffee or cold brew, for serving Any roast works; serve extra chilled if possible.

Equipment

  • 1 milk frother

Method

Make the apple crisp cold foam
  1. Combine the heavy cream, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, apple pie spice, and milk in a jar or frother cup.
  2. Froth using a milk frother or shake vigorously in a sealed jar for 30–45 seconds, until light and foamy.
  3. Let the foam sit for 3 minutes to thicken slightly before serving (optional).
Assemble your iced coffee
  1. Fill a glass with ice and pour in your favorite iced coffee or cold brew.
  2. Spoon the cold foam over the top, letting it float on the surface.
  3. Dust with an extra pinch of ground cinnamon, if desired.
  4. Stir gently before sipping to combine, or enjoy the foam layered on top.

Notes

For the best texture, keep the heavy cream and milk cold and froth/shake right before topping. Refrigerate any leftover foam in a covered container up to 1 day, then re-froth briefly before using; freezing is not recommended. For a lighter option, swap heavy cream for half-and-half (foam is softer, but still flavorful).
